Assess needs for the youth program with the Chaplain Corps leadership and in consult with the Protestant Advisory Council.
Provide and coordinate a youth program in accordance with the guidelines set
Direct the youth ministry program, recruit volunteers, procure necessary materials and supplies, train volunteer staff as needed and supervise this year-round activity.
Organize youth group for Jr High and Senior High students, as well as their discipleship classes; recruit volunteer teachers, substitutes, and other necessary staff; trains teachers and substitutes; and provide workshops as required.
Provide orientation for new volunteer staff members in facilities, funding, religious education policies, and available resources.
Provide an annual program plan as specified in local operating instructions and policy letters. Plan, program, and lead a weekly Protestant youth class,
Organize at least 3 outreach events annually for teens not involved in the chapel program. Includes a music program as part of the chapel youth group, as resources exist.
Qualification/Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in youth ministry, or any other ministry field from an accredited university
Minimum of two years involvement in a youth ministry program as a volunteer, contractor, or paid staff member.
