Help Desk Opportunity (Public Portal Technician - Tier 2)
Iron Bow Technologies has an immediate need for an experienced IT Support Technician interested in a permanent Tier 2 Help Desk opportunity in Washington, DC.
The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing and identifying user issue(s), resolving issue or properly escalating incidents to the appropriate resource for prompt resolution.
This is a hybrid role with 2 or 3 days onsite per week
Work site: 131 M St NE, Washington, DC 20002.
Monday - Friday between 7am and 7pm (will be 8 hours shifts).
What You’ll Be Doing
Act as the primary point of contact for users, addressing questions and providing comprehensive information about the EEOC Public Portal.
Engage with clients to assist them in accessing and managing their inquiries and cases through the portal.
Navigation Assistance: Guide clients in finding the correct point of contact for various EEOC systems and services.
Help clients reset their passwords to maintain uninterrupted access to the portal.
Aid clients in submitting inquiries and necessary documentation through the portal.
Resolve issues related to browser and device compatibility that may hinder access to the portal.
Provide step-by-step support to clients for uploading documents required for their cases.
Case Coordination: Liaise with case representatives to correct and update information, ensuring clients have accurate access to their cases.
Volume Management: Efficiently handle a high volume of calls and emails, ensuring prompt and effective support.
What You Bring To The Table
Strong customer service skills for dealing with the general public.
4+ years of IT support/helpdesk experience is required
Experience troubleshooting computer hardware/software, mobile devices, operating systems, and networking related technologies is required
Sound knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Exchange, Active Directory, and mobile devices
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Ability to obtain Position of Public Trust (US Citizenship required)
A Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field (or in lieu of a degree, 5 years of IT experience)
Candidates should possess accredited IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft MD 100, and/or ITIL (or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire)
