Job Summary:
This role is designed to assist the purchasing team members by managing overflow work functions and handling various duties. Reporting to the Director of Purchasing, the position receives regular guidance on priorities and assignments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Support the processing and acceptance of drop shipment invoices.
Enter and submit purchase orders in the system.
Monitor orders and update the inventory management system.
Expedite order processing.
Address receiving order errors with manufacturers.
Contact manufacturers for pricing and availability.
Contribute to maintaining pricing and product descriptions in the system.
Adapt to new duties as the business needs evolve.

Education and Experience:
Requires completion of some college coursework or equivalent relevant experience.
2 or more years of relevant experience
Possesses typing skills with a speed of 35-40 words per minute.
Physical Requirements: (In compliance with ADA)
Ability to lift 10lbs.
Ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods of time
This position is essential, and the employee must be physically in attendance at their designated workstation at our headquarters or home office location during normal business hours designated for this position.
