Each QA Specialists oversees the quality metrics for their Market(s). Besides assessing each store in their market; he/she runs action plans, follows up to customer complaints, detects/corrects reported deviation in social media and manages/closes QA/QC deviations from supplied goods/services. The role will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and improving quality assurance and food safety programs to ensure Campero standards of quality and service are being met at levels of the value chain.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and applied equivalent in Food Science, Chemistry, Business, Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum two years of Food Safety, QA/QC experience in the Food & Beverage Industry, focusing on food production performance enhancement, continuous improvement & vendor certification programs.
  • Having knowledge and certification of HACCP Concepts and quality systems is a must.
  • ServSafe® Certified or equivalent
  • Previous experience in quality assurance or similar field
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • This position requires travel up to 70% of the time and requires a flexible schedule.


Key Responsabilities:


  • Responsible for periodic quality assessments in both corporately owned restaurants and franchises ensuring all Campero standards are being met and providing an action plan and training to ensure all gaps are closed if needed.
  • Manages Corrective/Preventive action plans in their markets.
  • Work closely with Operational Services to ensure that all new processes, menu items and their supporting material are validated through the standards of quality.
  • Perform periodic vendor and supplier audits to ensure all raw material and processes follow Campero standards.
  • Prepares and implements quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for staying up to date with all local and federal regulations in all states in which we operate.
  • Executes, reports and follows up on QA Certifications for store openings.
  • Ensures operational compliance of our HACCP/ROP program, Food Safety and Brand Standards.
  • Collaborates within the structure to find win – win outcomes.
  • Ensures local market compliance with regulatory needs.
