Real Property Specialist

KOMAN Government Solutions has an immediate need for a Real Property Specialist to support our business operations in Fort Novosel, Alabama.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Technical preparation and update of Inventory of Army Military Real Property in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
• Responsible for the accumulation, input and accuracy of all real property inventory data in GFEBS.
• Ensures accurate maintenance of real estate records and reports.
• Schedules and conducts cyclic physical inspections of real estate.
• Ensures that procedures relating to the transfer and acceptance of accountable real property are adhered to by reviewing all DD Form 1354's for accuracy.
• Prepares justification for planned excess actions including demolition, transfer of ownership, sale or exchange.
• Conducts real property land utilization surveys and prepares annual Installation Commander's Annual Real Property Utilization Survey.
• Ensures compliance with the McKinney Homeless Assistance Act, by preparing screening documentation on all unused, underused, and excess real property for use as shelter for the homeless.
• Prepares special and routine reports on real property disposal, availability and information as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• Knowledge of a discipline related to real property management such as cost estimating, Environmental Programs and Master Planning.
• Knowledge of real estate regulations, laws, terminology and principles in order to process outgrants, disposals and acquisitions.
• Knowledge of the types and uses of buildings, structures and land areas accounted for on real property records in order to insure proper utilization and accountability of real estate.
• Knowledge of GFEBS with particular emphasis on accuracy and completeness.
