Description Of Responsibilities
- Adhere to the policies of the YWCA Central Alabama and support its Mission and Vision.
- Provide compassionate, empowering assistance to all residents, in a manner that prepares them to
interaction and indirectly through supervised housing staff.
- Provide full case management and advocacy for transitional housing client caseload located in
agencies (medical, food stamps, employment, financial, legal, psychiatric and/or others), as may be
needed.
- Work with transitional residents fleeing domestic violence circumstances in developing a safety
- Offer each transitional housing resident a range of voluntary services that is available to them
- Create and facilitate relevant support groups for transitional housing residents.
- Provide resource and supportive service assistance to permanent housing clients located in YWCA
- Assist with the planning and facilitation of any tenancy meetings, events and/or functions,
- Assist with all audit, funding or educational visits to YWCA Central Alabama through public

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field and three (3) years’ experience, providing
