Understand a diverse portfolio of packaging and inspection equipment and its technical benefit to make equipment, application, and process recommendations.
Review customer specifications, commercial documents, and internal standards to determine scope of project supply.
Perform equipment and product testing to recommended technical solution(s).
Estimating costs of purchased material, labor, and engineering by referencing cost reports.
Sourcing quotes for vendor buy-out items.
Generate customer proposals requested by End-users, Sales Representatives, and Regional Sales Managers.
Work with other internal technical groups in system solutions.
Entry of pre-sale quote activities into CRM/quote configuration systems.
Purchase order review and processing for hand-off to Project Management and Engineering.
Monitor progress of existing orders for conformance to estimated budgets.
Quoting other product lines in a support role.
Field travel to support sales, customers, and service.
Manage customer visits/demos.
2-year Associates of Applied Science degree in an engineering-related field, or
4-year bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field
Technical sales, estimating, customer service, or engineering experience, preferably with Industrial Equipment.
Develop and articulate concepts and solutions to employee team(s) and customers.
Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, AutoCad, and CRM systems.
Bilingual in Spanish - both verbal and written communication is a plus.
