Overview:
The Sales Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our Inside Sales & Purchasing team. This position involves creating accurate and competitive quotes, providing follow-up and partnership to our established customer base, and assisting the sales team with product issues, expediting customer orders, vendor purchase orders, and returns.
Responsibilities of the Sales Coordinator / Customer Support:
Provide dedicated support to address and coordinate responses for all requests from assigned customers.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
Gain familiarity with and stay knowledgeable about our inventory.
Comply with inventory control procedures and manage Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA).
Enter quotes and orders into the system and verify order accuracy.
Expedite orders and incoming purchase orders (POs) and sales orders.
Advise the sales team of any changes in incoming POs and sales orders.
Update sales orders with any changes to customer information.
Perform other sales and expediting duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications of the Sales Coordinator / Customer Support:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
College degree preferred
Two years of office administrative experience
Education & Experience:
College degree preferred.
At least two years of administrative experience preferred.
Experience with part codes or part descriptions is beneficial.
Willingness to learn new products and product descriptions is essential.
