We are looking for:

Sales Development Manager:
  • You will be closely working with the Business Lead or at a later stage, when the organization is bigger, with the S&M manager/director and the technical development manager (based in the US), while being part of the bigger Consumer & Resources segment organization.
  • The sales manager will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts in North America to achieve sustainable double digit growth in the food preservation and natural flavors sector.
  • To grow the Business unit presence in existing and new markets
  • To coordinate and deliver the pipeline of initiatives and projects with customers
  • To manage portfolio of development projects for customers
  • To ensure promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and market penetration
  • To strengthen market knowledge and stay updated on industry trends

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers through proactive communication and regular visits (50% to 70% of travels) to discuss commercial opportunities in full autonomy
  • Identify, investigate and follow up on qualified leads and develop business for potential customers in key market areas
  • Maintain and continuously improve knowledge about products, applications and markets in the industry
  • Develop, negotiate and monitor contracts and pricing for new business opportunities
  • Evaluate and propose innovative solutions for customer problems and coordinate with internal resources when needed to meet customer requests/demands and ensure issues are resolved
  • Be the driving force behind the understanding of the customer need and the provider of all the information to the technical team to enable it to meet the customer need
  • Contribute to develop our reputation on the market

You will bring:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5-10 years of relevant food ingredient selling experience
  • Hunter mindset, motivated and positive attitude
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong prospection skills
  • High level of autonomy and the ability to work independently
  • Proven success in building relationships with professionals at all organizational levels with internal and external customers
  • Elaborate strong approach to meet sales objectives on the target market and provide methodology to mitigate commercial risk
  • Having work experience in Processed Meat, Oils, Snacks & pet food/feed/fish feed industry


You will get:
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $119,000 to $150,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes a sales incentive plan (variable annual bonus).
  • 16, or more weeks, of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations

  • 50-70% of travels (mainly USA & Canada, Mexico and LATAM more rarely)
