Exciting Opportunity for a Sales Development Manager

Join a leading Fortune 200 company that produces diversified products for global markets. We are seeking a talented Sales Development Manager to work from our office in Troy, OH, for at least one year, with potential hybrid or remote options available after that time.

Our company is an industry leader in commercial dishwashers, serving hotels, casinos, restaurants, cruise ships, schools, universities, and retail establishments worldwide. We are committed to expanding our growth in existing and new markets, and we need a skilled Sales Development Manager to help drive our success.

In this role, you will provide support to our field sales organization and segmented marketing team, maximizing sales volume for individual product lines. You will plan and develop strategies by product category to meet sales goals, becoming the expert on our warewash products. You will provide day-to-day product support, conduct customer product presentations, and administer product promotions in partnership with our field sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, sales, marketing, and administration teams to position product lines for increased sales volumes.
  • Develop and execute new sales strategies to support growth, provide product information to the sales team, consultants, and dealers.
  • Design and facilitate product launch and sales training materials.
  • Visit factories and showrooms to demonstrate product benefits and value.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 30-50% of the time).
  • Creative and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop sales and marketing strategies for product lines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical information about products.
  • Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Industry experience is a plus.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in selling and/or marketing products in a business-to-business market.
