Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Director of Sales to fill an opening with an Automotive Supplier located in Metro Detroit. The ideal candidates should have experience in high precision automotive components.
Requirements of the Director of Sales
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business
Proven track record of success in senior sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in driving sales growth and managing high-performing teams.
Deep understanding of sales methodologies, CRM systems, and sales analytics tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong strategic planning and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire, coach, and develop talent to achieve individual and team goals.
Responsibilities of the Director of Sales
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market penetration.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to drive performance excellence, foster a culture of accountability, and ensure alignment with company goals.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to understand market dynamics, anticipate trends, and identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales efforts with product/service offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify areas for improvement and drive actionable insights to optimize sales performance.
