Seattle - Sr Mgr Program Management (Hybrid)

Job Description

This is a leadership role that oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of construction standards for new and existing Nordstrom Rack stores. This role is the key partner to Nordstrom internal stakeholder groups to capture and develop Rack store program changes or new initiatives that impact store construction and new store delivery. The role is a valued member of the construction project management team within the Store Development organization that delivers construction projects, roll outs and strategic initiatives across all Nordstrom physical locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Intake and validate requirements from internal and external teams including operation changes impacting the store layout, technology updates impacting integrated hardware and software systems, changes to asset protection strategy, building code changes, etc.
  • Identify cross functional impact and partner with relevant groups to assess operational and cost impacts. Provide summary communications to effectively drive timely decision making.
  • Partner with internal store planning and project management teams and lead external consultants including architects, engineers and specialists to manage the adoption of standards changes into construction documents and specifications.
  • Perform regular reviews and audits of consultant issued construction drawings for quality assurance and incorporation of standards.
  • Provide analysis of program changes that impact cost estimates for rack stores including new stores, remodels and small projects.
  • Partner with Nordstrom project managers to review and manage change orders related to program changes to control project costs.
  • Partner with Nordstrom accounting teams and project managers to provide updates to project cost reports in real time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree or diploma in construction management, architecture or related field.
  • Construction Project Management with a minimum 10 years of practical experience and understanding of construction processes
  • Means and methods construction site operations.
  • Understanding of architectural planning and engineering design processes is a must.
  • Financial and budget management

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $126,500- $210,000 annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
