Senior Billing Specialist

LHH (formerly Parker + Lynch) is actively working on a direct hire Senior Billing Specialist opportunity with a large law firm headquartered in Kansas City, MO. This position will report to the Billing Manager and will interact with both attorneys and clients. This company has a progressive culture offering very competitive compensation and above-market benefits. They are on a hybrid work schedule with just one day/week in office.

The Senior Billing Specialist job responsibilities include:

• Execute monthly billing cycle activities including pre-bill distribution, invoice processing, eBilling set-up, submission, revision and dispute resolution.

• Ensure Client Billing Guideline compliance

• Manage inquiries from clients (both internal and external) and ensure they are addressed in a timely matter and appropriately resolved.

• Assist in month end and other periodic close reconciliations, reporting and analysis.

• Design and implement internal controls and processes.

• Provide mentoring, training, and team direction

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate's degree preferred

• Experience in a high volume billing environment preferred

• Strong Microsoft Excel and systems knowledge preferred
