Role Description

The Austin Shermco location is looking to immediately fill 10 new job openings for NETA 2, 3, & 4 technicians to fill the growing demand of new, major project wins. These are full-time on-site roles for NETA Certified Technicians. The role involves testing, repair, and maintenance of rotating apparatus and electrical power distributions systems. As well as advanced troubleshooting, protrction & controls, relay testng, and project leadership. NETA Certified Technicians will also be responsible for analyzing equipment, performing professional training, and participating in electrical outage planning.


Qualifications

  • Certification as a NETA Certified Technician at levels 2, 3, & 4
  • Strong knowledge and experience in testing, repair, and maintenance of rotating apparatus and electrical power distribution systems
  • Proficiency in analyzing equipment and conducting professional training
  • Experience in electrical outage planning
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Employment type
