Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies to achieve business goals, including customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional offers, product launches, and automated workflows.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to develop compelling and relevant email content, including copywriting, design, and multimedia elements. Optimize existing nurture campaigns and build additional automated campaigns to help drive sales.
- Segmentation & Personalization: Utilize customer data to segment audiences and personalize email content to enhance relevance and effectiveness. Responsible for lead scoring and tracking contact behavior to map the customer journey and include in campaigns.
- Performance Analysis/reporting: Monitor, analyze and provide regular reporting on email campaign performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, unsubscribe rates) to derive insights and optimize future campaigns.
- A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of different email elements and continuously improve campaign performance.
- Compliance: Ensure all email campaigns comply with relevant regulations, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other email marketing best practices. Stay current and abreast of marketing automation best practices and the changing email marketing land scape.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years' experience or equivalent experience.
- Experience in email marketing, marketing automation, and customer relationship management systems (Eloqua and/or Microsoft Dynamics CRM highly preferred).
