Responsibilities
As part of the Ascension team, you will play a key role in upholding our core values. Responsibilities include:
Fostering a nursing culture focused on delivering the highest quality and safest care.
Building strong relationships with physicians and staff to promote trust and credibility.
Driving associate engagement and retention through targeted initiatives.
Collaborating with leadership and medical staff to develop new patient care programs and policies.
Ensuring compliance with nursing services and healthcare regulations.
Developing and implementing nursing policies, objectives, and initiatives.
Providing feedback, coaching, and performance reporting to nursing staff.
Managing department operations effectively with financial acumen.
Staying informed about innovative nursing practices and procedures.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Registered Nurse license required.
Nurse Executive credential preferred.
Education
Master's degree required.
Work Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience required, with 2 years in leadership or management.
Preferred: 10 years of experience, with 5 years in leadership or management.
