Senior Sales Director - Innovative NYC Startup (Confidential Search)


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Director to join a highly innovative startup located in the World Trade Center area of NYC. This is a hands-on sales role, focusing 80% on active selling and 20% on team and operations management.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive new revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans
  • Grow and manage strategic accounts, focusing on expanding client relationships and maximizing revenue potential
  • Generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline through various prospecting methods
  • Collaborate with the marketing team (Marketing Director and Sales Development Representative) to align sales efforts and drive customer acquisition
  • Mentor, coach, and lead a high-performance team
  • Leverage data analytics and market insights to inform sales strategies and optimize performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive revenue growth


Requirements:


  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a history of driving significant revenue growth
  • Experience selling to C-suite executives and growing strategic accounts
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and manage a sales team
  • Exposure to marketing and experience collaborating with marketing teams
  • Innovative, creative, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience selling corporate and professional training solutions or HR-related products and services is a plus
  • Comfort with a hands-on sales role and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


Compensation:


Competitive compensation package, with a base salary of $150,000 +OTE.
