Position Overview

The Sales & Marketing team, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Sr Sales & Marketing Analyst. The person in this role will report to the VP Commercial Excellence Beverage Packaging. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting and handling data, harmonizing it, and supporting standardization across four Novelis regions. The incumbent also be responsible for the investigation and evaluation of vendors, establishing and controlling critical metrics, reporting, and governing communication in and out of the Commercial Excellence framework. The candidate will help in the development and implementation of the Competitive & Market Intelligence module of Power BI Global Packaging in close collaboration with other value streams and corporate strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Produce reports and organize data and documents for the Global Packaging organization.
  • Investigate, research, do analytical thinking and develop market intelligence reports, analysis and harmonization across Novelis four regions.
  • Implement and update Competitive & Market Intelligence library including but not limited to:
    • Tools to track Exports/Imports of beverage cans, lids and can stock trade.
    • Handle Investment/divestment in beverage packaging and can stock industry.
    • Support best-in-class standards for C&MI in support of our strategy.
    • Implement and update negotiations memory, source of true.
  • Support to Commercial Excellence activities, projects and reports.
  • Global Key Account system testing and implementation
  • Support account planning set up and institutionalization process.
  • Global Packaging Power BI maintenance
  • Uploading and testing Commercial Excellence initiatives in Salesforce
  • Own Commercial Excellence Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
  • NPS – Net Promoter Score
    • Collecting, preparing, and reporting data for NexGen Focus 5 Customer Survey
    • Customer Journey & Customer experience
  • Contract Management
    • Identifying, measuring, and reporting deviations
    • Communicating customers overall performance in monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
    • Business contingency plan cross-functional collaboration data gathering
    • Building single source of true with facts and data.
  • Compliance
    • Working towards mapping and reporting, implementing requested changes, monitoring.
    • Creation of several critical metrics for compliance management.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum BA/BS College Degree – Business, Marketing or International Trade,
  • 3+ years of work experience with Sales/Marketing
  • Excellent business collaboration skills required - ability to interact and communicate with individuals in various functional areas and various levels of management.
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Diligent, self-starter who is assertive, focused, and flexible.
  • Ability to positively handle change in response to shifting demands, as well as multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s/MBA preferred
  • Proficiency in PowerBI or Tableau preferred

Location Profile

Novelis’ Global Corporate Headquarters is located in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta Georgia and employs approximately 250 people.
