The senior scheduler is reponsible for scheduling surgical and other major diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. This includes coordinating with off-site surgical facilities, preparing records and films for the case, communicating preoperative instructions to the patient and family, and scheduling preoperative testing.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Licensure: None.Experience: One year of surgical/medical office experience.Certifications: Other: Medical terminology. Computer skills.
