Senior Vice President Finance

The Managing Director of Structured Finance will lead the company's efforts in structuring financing solutions for utility-scale projects. This is a senior leadership role responsible for developing innovative financing structures, negotiating terms with financial institutions, and managing a team of structured finance professionals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structured finance, project finance, and the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financing strategies for the company's utility-scale solar project pipeline, incorporating various financing structures such as tax equity, debt financing, and other creative solutions.
• Lead efforts in financial modeling, structuring, and negotiating terms for project financing with investors, lenders, and other financial institutions.
• Manage and oversee a team of structured finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
• Collaborate with other departments, including development, engineering, and construction, to ensure alignment of financing plans with project requirements and timelines.
• Maintain relationships with existing financial partners and cultivate new relationships to expand the company's financing capabilities.
• Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and new financing products or structures that could benefit the company's projects.
• Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and meetings with financial institutions and industry stakeholders.
• Contribute to the company's overall strategic planning and growth initiatives related to financing and capital structure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structured finance, project finance, or a similar role within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully structuring and closing complex financing transactions for large-scale projects.
• In-depth knowledge of various financing structures, including tax equity, debt financing, and other innovative solutions.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate and structure complex financial arrangements.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of finance professionals.
• Understanding of the renewable energy industry, regulatory environment, and market dynamics.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and industry stakeholders.
