Company Overview: The Nix Company is a full-service marketing agency specializing in social media, content creation, email campaigns, and partnership marketing. We serve clients nationwide in the restaurant, hospitality, CPG, and retail/shopping center industries.


Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to assist the marketing team in Client campaigns, content calendar, and account management. You will be responsible for managing client social media accounts, creating engaging content, and driving growth and brand awareness. This role reports to Marketing Managers and Senior Social Media Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and manage client content calendars tailored to meet client objectives 
  • Manage and oversee multiple client social media accounts across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok), focusing on consistent branding and messaging.
  • Create and curate compelling and dynamic content for client social media channels, including Instagram Reels, graphics, and TikToks
  • Draft compelling copy that resonates with target audiences and is in alignment with the brand voice
  • Maintain brand consistency across all social media channels and ensure content aligns with clients’ brand guidelines and values.
  • Analyze social media insights and metrics to assess campaign performance and optimize strategies for engagement and reach.
  • Collaborate closely with the account managers to ensure alignment between social media initiatives and overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm content ideas, campaigns, and promotions that support Clients’ marketing goals.
  • Attend Client events for live social media coverage (average 1x per month).
  • Act as a photoshoot assistant at client photoshoots. 
  • Managing daily social media activities such as Instagram stories, DMs, community management, and reputation management. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing to provide proactive recommendations to clients.

  • Prepare and present social media performance reports and insights to clients monthly.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (creative, content, analytics) to ensure seamless execution of client campaigns.
  • Collaborate with agency leadership to drive innovation and excellence in social media strategies and client service delivery.
  • Manage the many moving parts of “agency life” while meeting agency and client deadlines, creating high-quality content, and working as a team in a fun and collaborative environment. 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in an agency setting.
  • Passion for all things social media and content creation. 
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Eager to learn and share new ideas. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Sharp attention to detail and a drive for perfection.
