The Position
Manage and drive activities for sourcing / contract management and supplier management, including identifying and developing GMP material suppliers and service providers. Oversee all GMP related sourcing and procurement activities.
Responsibilities
Supplier management:
Manage suppliers in collaboration with internal stakeholders, including business requirements, sourcing and risk management strategy, supplier selection and qualification, contracting, and performance management
Collaborate with inventory/planning team to develop effective supply plan and ensure risk management plan is in place and kept up to date for critical supply
Work closely with the Quality on audit, investigation, complaints, change control and GMP systems monitoring, and follow through with action plan implementation
Facilitate supplier risk management program in partnership with internal stakeholders - identification, assessment, mitigation planning and execution including metrics to report on supplier health status and escalating business risks as needed
Maintain E2E supply chain maps for all products and key sub-supply chains
Sourcing / contract management:
Review and select appropriate suppliers and materials based on business requirements
Oversee procurement activities for all GMP materials and services
Negotiate, implement, and manage agreements while achieving commercial savings
Ensure timely establishment and administration of supply and quality agreements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
5 or more years of purchasing experience
Experience working within D365
Experience working with external vendors
Excellent negotiating and leadership skills
Effective collaboration skills when working interdepartmental and external
High attention to detail
Wisconsin pay range
$120,000—$150,000 USD
