This role will be responsible for evaluating promotions and pricing plans for retail customers in North America. Working with the RGM, Customer Sales, and Commercial Strategy teams, this position will assess performance of the Monster portfolio and identify opportunities to drive efficiency and effectiveness of pricing and trade activity. Responsibilities include analyzing investment opportunities, performing ROI and profit analyses, along with evaluating current and
proposed promotional activity and strategies. In addition, this individual will be heavily involved in the development and commercialization of annual retail strategy for
the different channels of customers and brand segments within the portfolio. This is a strategic, highly developmental position within the organization.
Essential Job Functions
Support RGM leadership and Customer and Channel teams in annual revenue growth planning process by channel, package, and brand family across various geographies/markets
Develop relationships with key Sales and Cross functional teams to provide RGM support and insights to influence company direction to drive sustainable profitable sales growth
Review National & Regional key account performance, volume projections, activity, and spending to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities
Participate on cross-functional teams on high-visibility projects and systems development
Create annual retail strategy, develop content and manage delivery to necessary constituents
Conduct analysis on promotional and pricing activity and deliver insights to the Strategy, Planning, and Customer teams to maximize trade spend
Routinely perform revenue and pricing performance analyses for BU, Customer and Channel strategy leads
Work across multiple reporting systems and departments to extract and cleanse data, perform analyses, and make strategic recommendations
Develop customized analysis and reporting tools for short term projects
Mentor and train new RGM hires or RGM Analysts in key RGM foundational principles
Position Requirements
Preferred minimum of 3 years RGM and/or Data Analysis experience
Beverage industry experience preferred
Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and organizational skills; attention to detail; and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines
Able to proactively work with multiple departments of the company and drive results and accomplish goals
Drives organizational performance; Effective in translating analytics into actions and sustainable results
Models exemplary behavior and seeks out opportunities to share information, recommendations, and advice
Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with customers; ability to collaborate at all levels of both the internally within the Monster Energy Co as well as with the customer
BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Able to work independently while being a team player
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent at managing time, priorities, and expenses
Base Pay Range: $107,200 - $126,150
