Job Description

This role will report to the EVP. A successful candidate will be the strategic liaison for clients, internal teams, and partner agencies. You will champion strategically and creatively sharp work, be a true partner to clients, show a passion for the brand and category, and easily navigate a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

  • Seeks out opportunities to evolve the client’s view of the value add of all media and maximises the use of our operating model
  • Develops relationships with the most senior clients through a deep understanding of the brands to view as a trusted advisor and strategist of their business.
  • Develops and delivers the annual business plans for the client. Identifies opportunities for growth for the client’s business and our product offerings.
  • Strategic thinker capable of leading the brand’s strategy with stakeholders including internal and external agency partners
  • Lead teams through strategic development, creative ideation, production, and flawless execution
  • Think collaboratively and leverages various disciplines in the agency to present client brand-building opportunities and agency-building initiative
  • Isn’t afraid to jump in and build new bridges across our network, and client business units
  • Able to drive growth, but also establish and seamlessly integrate cross-functional teams
  • Anticipate project and/or client needs to always be one step ahead daily of what needs to be accomplished
  • Lead and oversee all account operations as it relates to the business of the agency
  • Identify client issues and work with our agency partners to provide solutions
  • Provide honest and valuable counsel to agency team
  • Collaborate with agency partners as an IAT leader
  • Create applicable development plans for direct reports
  • Inspire agency and client confidence and seek opportunities to advance the client relationship
  • Fuel agency culture and progress
  • Empower teams through engaging career development practices; maximize learning and productivity while minimizing turnover
  • In partnership with Portfolio Lead/EVP oversees client financials and account profitability
  • Analyze P&L statements and takes necessary action to ensure profitability
  • Provides leadership on agency delivery; ensures all deliverables are produced on time, on budget, and meet the client's expectations

Qualifications

  • Account team leader/senior client advisor
  • Project management expert
  • Management experience required. Able to empower, keep teams on track, and participate in professional development of staff.
  • High energy, able to effectively operate in fast-paced, growing and evolving environment.
  • Demonstrate superior oral, written and strategic abilities
  • Has experience with financial planning and revenue forecasting
  • Has previously experience in complex categories / strategically rigorous corporate image businesses (can wrap your head around complex perceptual challenges)
  • 12+ Years of integrated agency account management experience and 5 years in a senior supervisory role.

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $163,000 - $263,350. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
