Talent Acquisition Director - Americas

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Director for the Americas region. In this role, you’ll act as a strategic advisor to our Business Unit (BU) Presidents and senior leadership team to ensure that we attract, hire and retain best in class talent. As a TA Director you’ll play a critical role in shaping our organization’s talent strategy.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Strategy:
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand workforce needs and design and implement effective talent acquisition strategies tailored to your unique regional market landscape.
    • Align with the EMEA and APAC Leaders to ensure we have a consistent approach when designing and implementing key talent acquisition related initiatives.
    • Oversee the full recruitment cycle for some critical roles.
  • Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented recruiters, ensuring they deliver exceptional results by setting and hold a high bar for performance.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Utilize data and analytics to measure recruitment effectiveness, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
    • Draw insights and provide strategic recommendations to senior leaders with clear outputs and actionable plans.
  • Diversity:
    • Champion DEI initiatives within our recruitment process and strategy supporting Kroll’s wider diversity efforts.
  • Compliance and Process Improvements:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Work with the rest of the leadership team to find ways to make existing recruitment processes faster, more accurate, more efficient, and more reliable.
Essential Traits

  • Degree or equivalent and/or relevant talent acquisition experience in a professional services firm, including leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and employer branding.
  • Regional experience and expertise in the Americas.
  • Experience in using data and analytics to deliver valuable insights and suggestions to the team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and be able to operate in a large global organization and develop strong senior level relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
