THE HIGH LEVEL

The Technical Writer produces high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products and projects. The Tech Writer will support development, sustainment, communication, and integration. You will provide editing, proofreading, and writing support. You will provide quality control of all outgoing products, adhere to approved format, templates, and document compliance with accessibility standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the functional requirements of a project and/or customer activity. Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational and accessibility standards.
• Write user-friendly content that meets target audiences' needs, turning insights into language for user success.
• Gather information from subject matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
• Work with project leads and managers to determine the best solutions for data compilation.
• Interview subject matter experts/program specialists to obtain details to capture content material accurately.
• Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and clients while leading development to a completed and successful solution.
• Tracks projects using SharePoint and Monday.com
• Manages multiple timelines and completes tasks quickly within the constraints of clients' timelines.
• Compiles data and utilizes MS Office tools to put together presentations.
• Work with field-facing staff, communicating and troubleshooting issues.
  
  

What You Bring To The Table

• You should have a High School Diploma, or equivalent and a bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, or a relevant technical field.
• You have working knowledge and are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
• You're able to prioritize requirements and meet deadlines.
• You pay attention to detail and have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• You have two or more years experience as a technical writer.
• You're energetic and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• You have knowledge and understanding of the documentation cycle, including knowledge of layout and graphic design.
• We'd like it if you have experience working and/or writing in the Healthcare environment.
• Must submit to and be able to complete customer-required clearance, investigative, or training requirements.
