As a Creative Technical Writer within Technology, your role is pivotal in crafting and maintaining high- quality documentation that resonates with our corporate content and usability standards. Our documentation significantly reduces support costs and improves operating efficiencies by preventing incidents, minimizing tickets, empowering teams with the knowledge to resolve issues efficiently and have a clear understanding of day-to-day workflow process and tooling. Currently, our documentation sprawlsacross various sources and, in some instances, calls for greater accuracy and consistency, with a substantialportion awaiting completion and updates.

Basic Qualifications Develop and implement high-quality, standardized templates and innovative approaches/processes for documentation libraries and related articles, ensuring a harmonized user experience across teams.

  • Align knowledge articles and other written documentation with the DE&E Technology Application and Service Portfolio to expedite the discovery of essential information during incidents, changes, and problems.
  • Take ownership of crafting and developing processes and documentation for all disciplines within IT Service Management, and related tooling platform, while playing a pivotal role in the triumph of these services.
  • Collaborate closely with directors and service owners across DE&E Technology, ensuring that documentation articles/artifacts align seamlessly with strategic goals and initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience delivering technical documentation.

  • Outstanding written English skills.
  • Familiarity with support documentation and knowledgebase articles.
  • Experience using:
  • Confluence
  • SharePoint O365
  • ServiceNow Knowledgebase
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or comparable military/civilian work experience.
  • Experience in streaming media or media-oriented organizations.
  • A proven track record in aligning documentation with the goals and initiatives of technology services.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and create compelling, user-friendly documentation.
