Technical Writer - Medical - W2 only

Role: Technical Writer - IV

Location: Plano, Texas - 75024

Duration: 6 Months on W2

Shift Timings: 8 AM to 5 PM

Strongly prefer to work onsite in Plano, Texas and the pre-hiring team will give first preference to this candidate. Can also work onsite from Sylmar, CA, or St. Paul, MN, or can be Remote if they are in any other location.

But if this turns into full-time later they must be flexible to work onsite in any of these locations.

Skills Looking For

• Med device experience is required.
• Attention to detail and can manage their projects.
• Ability to learn tools quickly to use Content Management Systems. Experience in this is desired.
• Strong writer heavily on the project management side.
• Work with other writers: Graphic team, Documentation control team,
• Collaborate with development engineering, marketing, regulatory affairs, and clinical, among others, to gather inputs for IFUs (Instruction for Use)
• Must have end-user technical writing experience; that is, direct experience writing clinician and/or patient manuals.
• Will also look at Regulatory technical writing exp along with end user manual writing experience. End-user technical writing exp is required. Not looking for clinical writing experience.
  
  

 Research, write, edit technical documentation to support new and sustaining product development projects.

 Collaborate with development engineering, marketing, regulatory affairs, and clinical, among others, to gather inputs for IFUs.

 Follow internal processes and procedures.

 Understand and comply to medical device regulatory requirements related to labeling.

 Technical aptitude for learning new tools and systems.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.

 Experience / familiarity releasing documentation in Document Control system.

 Experience Working In a Content Management System Required.

 Must have current or recent medical device or pharma industry experience.

 Must have 4-6 years experience in the medical device industry.

 Must have end-user technical writing experience; that is, direct experience writing clinician and/or patient manuals.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's required with 5 to 8 years experience.
