Textile Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Textile Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in textile design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate artistic concepts into marketable products. This role involves working closely with our design team, production department, and clients to create innovative and high-quality textile designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop original textile designs, patterns, and prints for various applications, including apparel, home furnishings, and accessories.
• Conduct research on current trends, market demands, and new techniques in textile design.
• Create detailed sketches, drawings, and digital designs using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and CAD programs.
• Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop new ideas and concepts.
• Work with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and meet manufacturing requirements.
• Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the brand’s aesthetic and ensure all designs align with brand guidelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to continually innovate and improve designs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Textile Designer or similar role.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and CAD programs.
• Strong artistic and creative skills with an eye for color, detail, and texture.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of textile production processes and techniques is a plus.
• A portfolio showcasing a range of textile designs and projects.
