Description

We are inviting a creative and talented Textile Designer to join our team based in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be instrumental in the development of original textile designs and patterns for different applications, while working closely with our design team, production department, and clients. You will be responsible for conducting research on current trends, creating detailed sketches, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design original textile patterns and prints for various applications including apparel, home furnishings, and accessories
  • Conduct thorough research on current trends, market demands, and new techniques in textile design
  • Create detailed sketches, drawings, and digital designs using software such as Adobe Creative Cloud and CAD programs
  • Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop new ideas and concepts
  • Work closely with the production department to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements
  • Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders, incorporating their feedback and making necessary adjustments
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the brand’s aesthetic and ensure all designs align with brand guidelines
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to continually innovate and improve designs
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and high standards of quality are maintained.


Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience in creating various forms of advertisements
  • Ability to contribute to brand awareness strategies
  • Experience in designing brochures and other print materials
  • Strong design skills with an emphasis on digital platforms
  • Knowledge in textiles and ability to incorporate it into designs
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of creativity
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality designs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
