Metro Water Recovery in Denver, CO - a nationally recognized leader among clean water utilities, provides wastewater conveyance and treatment services for 2.2 million people in the Denver Metro area.
Responsible for the management of the organization's LMS platform and the coordination of training programs and initiatives. Manages the day-to-day operations of the LMS, including user management, content administration, technical support, and system optimization. Additionally, coordinates training resources, materials and communication for the organization’s staff. Works under the direction of the Senior Human Resources Manager.
Examples of Duties
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Learning Management System, including user management, content uploading, course creation, and troubleshooting technical issues. Oversees the organization's LMS, managing content uploads, tracking learner progress, generating reports, and continuously improving the platform's usability and functionality.
Responsible for course configuration, designing learning paths and curricula within the LMS.
Manage the process of obtaining approvals for training units from accrediting bodies, ensuring compliance with all necessary guidelines and criteria, including maintaining accurate records of training unit approvals and certifications, and coordinate renewal processes as required.
Provide and analyze reports on training completion, compliance, and other relevant metrics.
Serve as the main point of contact for training inquiries, registrations, and participant support.
Collaborate with content creators and subject matter experts uploading, organizing, and updating training content within the LMS.
Work closely with trainers and facilitators to ensure all necessary resources, materials, and communications are prepared for each session.
In conjunction with other Training and Development staff, develops and maintains organizational training content and materials.
Facilitate and co-facilitate Metro’s established learning and development training as needed, delivering content through various instructional methods.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
