Treasurer

The Treasurer will be responsible for overseeing treasury management and cash planning for the family office and its portfolio of investments, including startups and portfolio companies. This role requires expertise in cash flow management, liquidity planning, and treasury operations to ensure financial stability and support growth initiatives across the portfolio. This role is a full-time, in-person position in Columbia, MO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive treasury management strategies to optimize cash flow, liquidity, and financial stability for the family office and its portfolio companies.
• Manage daily cash operations, including cash positioning, cash forecasting, and short-term investments.
• Oversee banking relationships, ensuring the most favorable terms and conditions for banking services and credit facilities.
• Design and maintain cash flow models to support liquidity planning and decision-making for the family office and its portfolio companies.
• Coordinate with portfolio company management teams to ensure effective cash management practices and accurate cash flow forecasting.
• Develop and implement policies to increase company “FLOAT”, involving analyzing our AP and AR efforts.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and best practices to improve treasury management efficiency and effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CTP) are a plus.
• Proven experience in treasury management and cash planning, preferably within a family office, private equity, or related environment.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management, liquidity planning, and treasury operations.
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
