Our client has developed a 1st of its kind healthcare data aggregate opening the door to a massive opportunity to create the first revenue acceleration platform built specifically for sales and marketing teams at life science companies.


Founded in 2021 with over $6.8M in early funding, this organization has built a strong brand within the healthcare informatics sector by being a product & engineering-driven company with substantial commercial success and organization growth.


Currently, this organization is seeking a talented Data Scientist to work with the Co-Founder exploring new functional solutions for their 45 TB+ of medical claims data to create customer solutions to accelerate their medical technology sales motion.


This will be a critical new component interfacing between technical and customer teams helping define, build, and enrich product APIs and data infrastructure toward new advanced features as well as uncovering insights within the datasets.


Requirements

  • 6+ years in a Data Science role with demonstrated experience solving customer problems.
  • Understanding of medical claims data and billing practices (coding, reimbursement, etc.). Knowledge of industry data sources like CMS, AMA, NPPES, etc.
  • Strong expertise in Python and SQL, with an emphasis on using Databricks for large-scale data processing.
  • Experience in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques.
  • Expert with visualization tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, Superset.
  • Understands the fundamentals of data modeling, working with structured/unstructured data.
  • Impressive problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and robust work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience leading team projects and mentoring junior members of the team (read: ownership).
  • Experience with Apache Spark (Pyspark), building ETL processes
