Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated professional to serve as the Vice President of Communications and Marketing (VPCM) at Franklin Pierce University. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team to develop and implement strategic communications and marketing initiatives. The primary goal is to increase enrollment, boost philanthropy efforts, and enhance our institutional visibility. The VPCM will oversee integrated campaigns utilizing traditional and digital media, advanced analytics, and cutting-edge AI technologies to achieve our strategic goals. Additionally, the role includes managing crisis situations, building partnerships, and handling government and public relations activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication and marketing strategies aligned with institutional objectives.
• Lead crisis management efforts and contribute to strategic planning.
• Foster collaborations with industry and community leaders to drive funding and partnership opportunities.
• Manage government relations, public relations, and strategic vendor partnerships.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in communications and marketing, with a preference for higher education background.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in graphic design, digital media, and communication technologies is a plus.
