Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Senior VP of Business Development Opportunity at Growing Company

Would you like to be a part of driving the growth strategy of a dynamic organization? We are looking for a Senior VP of Business Development to join our team. Reporting directly to the President, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and execution of our sales strategy to build a strong sales pipeline and nurture a culture of success within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate the company's mission, vision, and values to all stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a compelling sales strategy to exceed sales goals.
  • Identify and manage new business opportunities, nurturing key customer and third-party relationships.
  • Advocate for new business initiatives in alignment with the company's mission and vision.
  • Collaborate with Operations on short- and long-range sales initiatives.
  • Manage and cultivate the sales team pipeline to ensure successful deal closures.
  • Provide guidance to Sales and Marketing staff to facilitate client progress.
  • Collaborate with other departments to efficiently meet client needs.
  • Contribute to business strategies and commercial activities.
  • Plan and execute business intelligence gathering to optimize strategic development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in executive leadership roles.
  • Strong leadership skills and personal integrity.
  • Proven problem-solving and project management abilities.
  • Financial acumen, with experience managing P&L of $50M+.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business administration or related field.
  • Extensive experience in the food service industry.
  • Strong training and development capabilities.
