The Role

Solera is seeking a seasoned executive sales leader who understands and has experience in the Automobile Insurance and Collision Repair markets. The candidate will have 8-10 years minimum of prior management and leadership experience in Enterprise sales. The candidate will lead teams of sellers that drive opportunities to retain, win, and grow markets for Solera. This leader will have personal expectations for a high career trajectory and proven potential to participate as an integral part of the Insurance sales-leadership team. This individual will be a motivational leader who inspires and aligns the team to deliver and exceed business outcomes for our customers. This role will drive high performance from individual team members that manage the Solera value selling process.

What You'll Do

Deliver on sales and account retention metrics and show a demonstrated ability to successfully achieve quota by tracking opportunities through the pipeline process at Solera

Intellectual curiosity to drive innovative approaches to tackle the competitive nature of the market

Provide accurate forecasting and business reporting

Responsible for developing aligning, and executing business strategy for North American insurers and top multi-store collision shop operators

Establish deep relationships with prospects and customers and a presence in industry forums, while also creating a trusted relationship with the most senior levels of organizations

Planning and executing strategies that expand Solera product offerings and drive new account expansions and increase share of wallet in existing customer base.

Responsible for driving the execution of new sales activities in defined accounts that grow higher market-share

Implementing cross-functional initiatives that improve value selling and relationship management with key contacts and C-Level executives.

Visit and maintain relationships with key customer contacts

Support and develop relationships inside Solera with key business partners in finance, products, marketing, and operations.

Develop pricing schedules, ROI analysis, and business cases as required for prospective clients

Development of best practices for leading successful sales results

Create and execute quarterly and annual business and account plans

Develop a repeatable sales model that ensures consistent success and revenue growth

What You'll Bring

Minimum 8-10 years of successful commissioned sales leadership experience, recruiting, building, and leading a high-performance sales team that delivers overachievement

Bachelors’ degree preferred; or post-graduate MBA highly desirable, and/or equivalent work experience considered

Demonstrated learning aptitude – ability to absorb and apply extensive industry and product knowledge to customers

Experience in the automotive services industry and insurance industry strongly preferred; not required

Collision industry experience, working with insurers or repairers desirable

Possess well-developed communication and presentation skills; able to communicate at the SVP and CxO level

Goal oriented, focused on achieving/exceeding expected results while exercising initiative

Demonstrated ability to navigate complex customer buying environments, with multiple influencers or decision-makers and gain buy-in from both business and technical organizations

Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers and acts with the customer in mind

Strives to establish a strong sales culture that is reinforced by personal leadership and accountability

Knows how to build effective cross-selling and up-selling motions, and how to retain customers.

Understands the importance of leading from the front, making visible contribution and success through community, collaboration, and transparency

Knowledge in building and integrating teams of sellers together.

Ability to manage multiple functions at the same time, while being able to deliver in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Knowledgeable of common Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Prior experience with SalesForce.com desired
