Position Type: Full-Time, Executive  

 

Role 

The Vice President of Operations (VP of Operations) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our multi-clinic psychiatry practice. This executive will ensure efficient and effective clinic operations, enhance patient care services, and drive the strategic growth and operational excellence of the organization. The VP of Operations will work closely with the executive team, clinic managers, and medical staff to ensure alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and values.

Primary Job Responsibilities 

  • Operational Leadership: Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the efficient operation of all clinics, including patient care services, administrative processes, and facility management. 
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans that support the growth and sustainability of the practice. Identify opportunities for expansion and service enhancement. 
  • Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess clinic performance, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Implement improvement initiatives as needed. 
  • Staff Management: Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of clinic managers and administrative staff. Foster a positive and productive work environment that supports professional growth and high performance. 
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards. Implement quality assurance programs to maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety. 
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring financial targets are met. Monitor revenue cycle management, optimize billing processes, and control costs. 
  • Patient Experience: Enhance the patient experience by implementing best practices in patient care, streamlining appointment scheduling, and improving patient communication and follow-up. 
  • Technology Integration: Oversee the implementation and utilization of electronic health records (EHR) systems, practice management software, and other technologies to improve operational efficiency and patient care. 
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including medical staff, patients, vendors, and community partners. 
  • Human Resources: Oversee Human Resources & payroll for Hopemark’s employees 
  • Acquisitions & New Clinic Openings: Oversee new clinic operations including hiring key staff members and implementation of technology and protocols. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or a related field required; master's degree preferred. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably in a multi-clinic or outpatient setting. Experience in psychiatry or mental health services is highly desirable. 
  • Skills: Strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement processes. Proficiency in financial management and budgeting. 
  • Technology: Familiarity with EHR systems, practice management software, and other healthcare technologies. 
  • Growth Mindset: candidates have an entrepreneurial and growth mindset with the ability to be innovative, nimble and quick.

Job Type: Full-time 


Salary: 145-160K Base + Bonus 


Physical setting:
