As they continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join the team as the Vice President of EPC.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic leader to fill the role of VP Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of solar projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to the highest quality and safety standards. The VP Construction will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and scaling our EPC capabilities to meet the growing demands of the renewable energy market.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage the execution of solar projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing EPC team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement EPC strategies aligned with company goals, staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery and exceed customer expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Budget Oversight: Manage and optimize project budgets, working closely with finance teams to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Quality Assurance and Safety: Implement and uphold rigorous quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 5 years+ experience working within the EPC space.
- Experience in Utility Scale or Distributed Generation Solar.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Masters degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering solar EPC projects, preferably in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
- In-depth knowledge of solar energy technologies, EPC processes, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
