The Opportunity

The Vice President – Corporate Development is responsible for defining strategy and driving execution on merger and acquisition (M&A) at Poppulo.

As the Vice President of Corporate Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth initiatives and expanding our market presence in the enterprise technology sector. You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute our corporate development strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Corporate Development Strategy: Lead the development and execution of our corporate development strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Identify Strategic Opportunities: Identify and evaluate potential strategic opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances that enhance our product offerings, market reach, and competitive positioning.
  • Due Diligence and Valuation: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential opportunities, assessing strategic fit, financial viability, and integration requirements. Develop detailed financial models and valuation analyses to support decision-making.
  • Negotiation and Execution: Lead negotiations and structuring of deals, including terms, conditions, and contractual agreements. Collaborate with legal, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
  • Integration Planning: Develop integration plans and coordinate with PMO function to execute post-acquisition integration to achieve synergy targets and operational efficiencies.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market analysis.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners, investors, industry influencers, and internal teams to foster collaboration and support business development efforts.

Candidate Expertise Required

  • Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and measurable results.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and ability to demonstrate the Poppulo company values.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
  • Global mindset with experience working across diverse cultures and geographies.
  • Solid financial modeling skills and proficiency in conducting financial analysis, including valuation techniques and deal structuring.
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to identify and evaluate strategic opportunities that align with business objectives.
