VP of Marketing

We are seeking a VP of Marketing to lead our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of marketing, with a proven track record of building and managing teams in growth-stage companies. You will be responsible for creating, communicating, and executing well-defined marketing plans that align with our company’s strategies, drive growth, and inspire both seasoned marketing and sales teams.

Do:

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies, driving company growth through innovative and data-driven initiatives aligned with business objectives
  • Align marketing initiatives with business goals, collaborating closely with product development, sales, and solution delivery teams to ensure unified strategic direction and effective execution of campaigns
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, fostering seamless alignment between marketing, product, sales, and solution delivery departments to maximize operational efficiency and achieve strategic objectives
  • Mentor and manage the marketing team, providing leadership, guidance, and professional development opportunities to ensure effective execution of marketing plans and campaigns
  • Prioritize marketing and sales requests, managing the workflow for collateral development, campaign execution, and event planning across both Enterprise and SMB segments
  • Collaborate with Summit's subject matter experts and leadership team to create compelling thought leadership and marketing content
  • Enhance marketing analytics and reporting, developing and optimizing dashboards to provide real-time visibility and actionable insights for informed decision-making and continuous improvement


Deliver:

  • Develop and execute multi-channel campaigns to drive consistent, high-quality marketing initiatives showcasing Summit’s capabilities and track record supporting client growth across various segments
  • Provide strategic insights and optimization recommendations for Summit’s marketing operations and campaigns through centralized dashboards and reporting
  • Offer strong leadership and mentoring to the marketing team at Summit, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and excellence


Decide:

  • Set strategic marketing direction, proactively defining and evolving Summit’s strategies to achieve business growth and enhance brand presence in the market
  • Allocate resources effectively, making decisions to optimize marketing initiatives and ensure alignment with company goals and budgetary constraints
  • Drive innovation and creativity, leading efforts to innovate marketing approaches, leverage market trends, and insights to differentiate Summit’s offerings and drive competitive advantage
  • Evaluate and prioritize initiatives, assessing and prioritizing projects and campaigns based on potential impact, strategic alignment, and resource availability
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, collaborating with senior leadership and stakeholders to align marketing objectives, communicate progress, and manage expectations effectively

  • Over 10 years of corporate and product marketing experience, demonstrating success in B2B technology companies with a proven ability to drive growth and enhance brand equity through strategic marketing initiatives
  • Track record in dynamic, fast-paced environments, ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry, managing multiple teams and projects simultaneously while delivering impactful results
  • Deep understanding of enterprise IT decision-making, strong insights into buying-team behaviors and market dynamics that influence decision-making processes within enterprise IT environments
  • Problem-solving and execution skills, ability to identify challenges, develop innovative solutions, and execute strategies swiftly to capitalize on market opportunities and meet business goals
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and business units, understanding and supporting their success requirements
  • Attention to detail and strategic focus, exceptional attention to detail while maintaining a strategic mindset, aligning marketing efforts with market opportunities and business requirements

Pay Range: $125,000-$150,000/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
