Our client is a multi-billion dollar corporation focused on publishing and educational products. They are seeking a seasoned Sales executive to lead a 300+ person sales org and implement new strategies to drive revenue growth in the U.S.
Job Title: VP of Sales
Location: Remote – ET hours preferred. Must be in United States and eligible to work for any U.S. Employer to be considered.
Required Skills
20+ years of professional sales experience, with demonstrated experience leading large sales organizations (>100+ People) through periods of transformation and driving in hundreds of millions in annual revenue
Strong leadership skills and experience being in highly visible role within a sales organization
Expertise in B2B / B2B2C sales models
Experience building a sales culture: hiring, setting KPIs, implementing best practices, etc.
Experience implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth
Experience working in executive leadership and working with and presenting to C-level stakeholders
Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives
Experience monitoring market trends, competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks, and reporting on sales performance for senior leadership
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Experience in media, publishing, tech, education or similar fields
Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 (Based on experience & level), plus bonus, stock, long-term incentive. Expected OTE in $600,000-$700,000 range.
