Job Description

GIP (Global Inflight Products) is seeking an experienced and driven VP of Global Sales & Account Management to lead our worldwide airline sales and account management efforts. This strategic role will oversee a team of 6 sales and account managers responsible for GIP's global airline customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand GIP's airline customer base worldwide
  • Manage the end-to-end tender response workflow process to ensure high-quality, differentiated, and competitively priced proposals are delivered to airline customers on time
  • Oversee the purchase order workflow process globally, collaborating with internal teams to streamline approvals and fulfillment
  • Optimize the global product shipping process in coordination with the Head of Logistics to ensure on-time deliveries to airline customers
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key airline stakeholders at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Collaborate closely with the Heads of Global Marketing & New Business Development and Global Sourcing on joint initiatives
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing global sales and account management team
  • Set aggressive yet achievable sales targets and ensure the team meets or exceeds quotas
  • Analyze sales metrics, identify growth opportunities, and present findings to executive leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in global sales leadership roles, preferably in aviation/airline or related industries
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing sales strategies that drive revenue growth
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Strong data analysis abilities to translate sales metrics into actionable insights
  • Collaborative leadership style with ability to work cross-functionally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%
