The Wellness Attendant creates a welcoming and safe exercise environment that ensures the cleanest, most efficient workout experience for YMCA members. Individuals in this position welcome, connect, support and invite members to be active and deliver outstanding service to all members and guests. They connect YMCA members with available resources in the branch and wellness offerings. The candidate is expected to maintain general knowledge of the facility, programs and activities of the Y and provides service and information to members while creating a safe environment for all.
Salary range: $18.50 to $22.00 per hour
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
18+ years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be available early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends
6 months customer service experience or equivalent
Knowledge of health, nutrition, and/or fitness
Current YMCA-approved CPR and First Aid certification
Schedule:
Monday and Wednesdays from 5pm - 9pm
Saturdays from 6:45am - 10:45am
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Personal Trainer or Group Exercise Instructor
Bilingual skills in Spanish, Cantonese, and/or Mandarin
