Join our team as a Wellness Coordinator, where every resident is treated with dignity and care. Provide personalized attention and bring smiles to the faces of older adults as you promote a joyful, fun, and engaging experience. In this role you will promote resident wellness by leading group fitness classes, providing personal training and assisting residents in improving their overall well-being. This part-time role has room for growth and flexibility for those looking for steady hours in the fitness industry serving seniors.
Schedule Varies: The position is part-time, 20-22 hours per week primarily during Club open hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm and Saturdays 8:30am - 12:30pm. Additional hours outside of these windows may occasionally be required, so flexibility is highly important.
What you will need:
High school diploma or GED required or Bachelor's degree preferred
NCCA Accreditation or be willing to pursue the training
Experience working in personal training, group fitness and/or wellness in a clinical fitness/physical therapy setting is required
Experience working with gerontology and/or special populations is preferred
At least 18 years of age or older.
