Career TEAM is looking to hire a dynamic Work Experience Coordinator to specialize in work experience (WEX Process) for our VIPS as well as other special projects. The ideal candidate will be able to work well autonomously and be able to function well in a team capacity. Highly encouraged to research the WIOA services and understand the system. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Enhancing and creating cutting-edge content and curriculum to facilitate career workshops to help job seekers gain an edge in their career development
Become a subject matter expert on the labor market and career trends
Complete intake and eligibility determination for the workforce programs with a focus on WEX enrollments
Assess the jobseeker's employment and training needs
Assist in coordinating, participating, and facilitating Career Boost sessions to engage partners, job seekers, and training providers on industry-specific topics
Participate in community engagement events to create awareness of the WIOA program opportunities such as resource fairs, Rapid Responses, etc.
Guide job seekers through the workforce systems helping to ensure warm partner handoffs
Counsel customers on available job opportunities, training programs and other services
Conduct orientation sessions and help navigate customers to appropriate programs based on customer needs
Support work connecting customers to paid internship experiences
Provide leadership and direction to maximize outreach efforts within the community, ensuring program eligibility, sustainability, and success
Coordinate activities with marketing for outreach and customer engagement strategies
Meet and/or exceed program benchmarks
Participate in all staff-related events as required including but not limited to training, staff meetings, and individual supervision
Complete all required reports
Approach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindset
Other duties and projects as needed
The Ideal Qualifications Include:
Associate's degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience managing and facilitating Youth Programs
Proven experience combining elements of training, giving guidance to job seekers
Strong experience with outreach efforts and relationship building
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work in a variety of settings with culturally diverse customer bases with the ability to be culturally sensitive
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a team
Must adhere to the principles of Extreme Customer Service in all interactions with internal and external customers
Ability to navigate virtual communication platforms
Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A Valid Driver's License

Salary: $55,000 - $57,000 per year. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
Travel: Position may require local travel up to 20% of the time
