Youth and Children's Ministry Director

The First Presbyterian Church of Ocala is seeking a part time employee to organize and direct the youth and children’s ministries of the church. The primary role is to manage and lead programs that minister to young children and their families through education, activities, and counseling.

Responsibilities

• Lead or Coordinate activities and meals for the Middle and High School Youth group (combined

meeting)

• Organize and execute outreach and mission events and activities for youth, children, and

families.

• Lead or Coordinate Sunday Children's activities (Children's Message, Sunday School, and Nursery

Volunteers)

• Lead and/or Coordinate Youth and Children's activities (Holiday events, seasonal retreats/camps,

etc.)

• Direct a 1-Week Vacation Bible School camp (1/2 day) each summer for children ages 3-10.

• Participate as a member of the Christian Education Committee (Meets monthly)
