- [Narrator] Excel has numerous chart types, and when you create a chart, consider some of the others. The default chart type in Excel is what we call a stacked column chart, and we're about to see one as we look at the data over in columns A through E. Suppose we want to create a chart with this data right here. Remember the fastest way to create a chart, Press Alt + F1 after you've selected the data. That's the function key F1. And we get a clustered column chart, and many times it might be the chart you want. I do recommend a couple of choices to make though. On the chart design tab, that's active anytime you select a chart, you can certainly explore some of these options, you might have seen that in a previous movie.
