The hospitality market in Naples, Florida has been booming, with recent reports showing hotel occupancy has surpassed the national average over the last year. Following robust demand, Naples has seen an increase in developments currently under construction, including The Athens Group’s Naples Beach Club, opening next year. This is an excellent property. ST Clair developed it originally as a hotel and I got to tour the property with him . It didn’t get to open as a hotel, yet under Marriott and Las Brisas it should be a success. It’s a great location just two minutes walk to the isla verde beach. It’s close to hotels 🏨 and restaurants . They will probably need more parking but There’s alternatives close by. 🟡There are other hotels 🏨 for sale and buildings that are prime for conversion to hotels, apartments or short term rentals. There are local tax credits of 30-40% of the investment that it could qualify for. Passalacqua in Italy’s Lake Como Is Named Best Hotel in the World The first-ever World’s 50 Best Hotels list has been revealed, with Europe and Asia the big winners. The founders of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants and Bars lists have crowned the world’s best hotel for the first time—and it’s Lake Como’s Passalacqua. The tiny, 24-room hotel only just opened in June 2022 after a years-long restoration to its 18th century building—which has played host to guests as illustrious as Napoleon Bonaparte, Winston Churchill, and Vincenzo Bellini who made it his home in the 1800s. The hotel’s instant, meteoric rise in popularity among the jet set has come largely on the heels of charismatic owners Paolo, Antonella and Valentina De Santis who have made the hotel a true labor of love, and who had a built-in following as owners of the beloved Grand Hotel Tremezzo, also in Lake Como.
