random thought on construction year 2 day 50 some other little concrete tod bits to think about. rebar and Dowell into existing slabs. etc. always make sure they have the holes drilled to proper depth and location for what is needed. use the correct epoxy for situation. does it require a slick rod that is greased instead ?. does it call for an expansion joint? look at the specifications. keep following
Post-tensioning is conducted by transferring the stress in tendons to hardened concrete. The installation of internal tendons involves pulling and stretching the tendons, inside the ducts that have been casted in the concrete. Still on the Raft Work, next was the REINFORCED CONCRETE CASTING. Reinforced concrete is a mixture of sand, stone(granite), water, cement and steel rod in the right proportion to erect a structure. This stage involves filling of the form work done by the carpenters and iron benders with mixed concrete in the right proportion. The concrete inside the form work was vibrated with vibrator(vibrating machine) so that it would settle down well inside the form work. At the end of the day 3 inches gap between the concrete and steel rod was left to enable the DPC/Slab(German Floor) steel rod anchor/connect with the raft/foundation. Always follows us as we proceed in this project.

Scaling walls! What's up Spidey? Our guys are attaching a rebar wall to support a massive concrete wall. It's part of the culvert. Rebar is a steel bar that is used in concrete construction. By adding the steel bars, we are reinforcing the concrete. These walls were put together with #7-30ft rods in our yard and transported to the job site. They aren't light, but the crane had no problem setting them in place for our team. #construction #culvertreplacement #awesomejobs #excavation #civilconstruction
