Tracey Woods’ Post

“We make sure we spend money with minority and women-owned businesses, understanding they are often pillars of their communities that employ others who need opportunities. Last year, we spent $3.2 billion dollars with these companies, and we’ve also created the Community Impact Capital Fund, earmarking $36 million to support businesses that have had difficulty getting loans and investments.” — Calvin Butler #economicimpact #energycareer #cleanenergytransition

President and Chief Executive Officer at Exelon

Recently, I had the enriching and energizing experience of delivering the commencement address at Delaware State University. Thank you to The Philadelphia Tribune for allowing me to share some of my message with the Class of 2024 across that region, where we serve customers through our local energy companies Atlantic City Electric, Delmarva Power and PECO. We are counting on this generation of leaders to join us in the energy transformation to find better, cleaner, healthier and more affordable ways to power our communities.
